Dyrøy
Dyrøy is Troms’s green island in the Arctic — a quiet municipality where fjords meet forests, and hiking trails lead to WWII bunkers, abandoned farms, and sweeping views of Senja and Andørja. With around 1,050 residents and a landscape shaped by the Dyrøysundet strait, Dyrøy is a nature-first destination that’s off the beaten track but rich in history, community, and outdoor adventure.
