Flesberg
Flesberg is Numedal’s forested middle child — a municipality in Viken where stave churches meet ski trails, and the local school is called “Skattekista” (yes, the Treasure Chest). With around 2,700 residents and nearly 3,500 cabins tucked into the hills, Flesberg is the kind of place where you can hike to a waterfall, ski through silence, and still make it back for waffles at the local café. It’s got medieval roots, modern ambition, and a mountain called Blefjell that does most of the talking.
