Elverum is Østerdalen’s forest capital - a municipality in Innlandet where moose outnumber motorists, museums smell like pine, and the Constitution once took refuge from invading Germans. With around 15,000 residents and a legacy of timber, trade, and tenacity, Elverum is a place where nature and history walk hand in hand - preferably in hiking boots.
