Enebakk is Oslo’s leafy escape hatch - a municipality in Viken where forests stretch like shag carpets, lakes sparkle like polished fjord glass, and horses outnumber hipsters. With around 10,500 residents and a landscape stitched together by pine, granite, and quiet ambition, Enebakk is the kind of place where you can hike all day, fish all evening, and still make it back to the city for brunch. It’s rural, but not remote - and proud of it.

Where to Stay in Enebakk
Getting There
Enebakk is located about 30 km southeast of Oslo, with easy access via bus and car. The village of Kirkebygda is the administrative center, and Ytre Enebakk is closest to the capital. Public transport is decent, but a car unlocks lakes, trails, and viewpoints that feel worlds away from city life.
