BerlevĂĄg
Berlevåg is Norway’s Arctic edge — a windswept fishing village in Troms og Finnmark where tetrapods guard the harbor and reindeer roam the tundra. Perched on the Varanger Peninsula, this municipality of around 1,100 residents is known for its dramatic coastline, WWII history, and the famously passionate Berlevåg Male Choir. It’s where the Barents Sea crashes into culture, and where the midnight sun and polar night take turns painting the sky.
